ADOBE SOUNDBOOTH CS3
A
quick look: Adobe Soundbooth CS3 lets you manage audio in films, video,
and Adobe Flash projects.
Adobe®
Soundbooth® CS3 software is an audio editing program that lets
you control the sound of voice-overs, recordings, music, and sound effects.
Tightly integrated with Premiere Pro® and Flash®, the
intuitive interface offers a high level of creative control. The on-clip
editing tools, some with a quick click-and-drag interface, help speed up
your workflow.
-
Edit and improve audio
Soundbooth is like a Photoshop® for audio. Common edits can
be completed almost instantly, and a spectral waveform display gives you
visual cues about your audio. Over a dozen audio filters are included,
which add reverb, echo, and distortion, along with thousands of sound
effects available in Resource Central.
-
Record and master
The mastering tools in Soundbooth help clarify sound and polish the
file. You can record your own audio in either mono or stereo sound, and
choose from dozens of customizable music files that Adobe includes with
Soundbooth. The program can automatically find and repair common audio
problems, like crackling, hiss, and pops.
-
Integrate with other
Adobe products
Adobe software is designed to work together. That means you can take the
audio from an open project in Premiere Pro, edit it in Soundbooth, and
re-upload it right back into the project. Soundbooth also works with
Flash by creating markers that serve as animation cues, which can be
uploaded as XML or FLV.
